Pump up the Jam combines sweet jam flavours with a bready malt base. It’s a jam doughnut in a pint glass. No word of a lie.

Brewery Info

Only a couple of years old, Tiny Rebel have taken the Welsh craft beer scene by storm, winning several awards in the Champion Beer of Wales competition and opening Cardiff's 1st ever fully devoted craft beer bar - all in the space of a few months.

They’re one of our favourite newcomers, with astonishingly good beers like Cwtch Welsh Red Ale and FUBAR American Pale. Those of us who grew up in the 90’s will also love Hadouken - Tiny Rebel’s hat-tip to the iconic Street Fighter move. Try their beers now and prepare to be amazed.

not worth the hype

the hype surrounding this beer at my local bottle shop is huge, I felt let down a little, the flavour isn't quite right for a beer, there is something just a little odd, not bad enough to be drain pour by any stretch but I wouldn't go out to get more
not bad at all

A lot of reviews seem to mention the 'artificial' fruit flavour as more of a criticism than an observation. I would understand this more, if the beer was labelled as a 'Fruit Beer' - But it isn't. And your average Jam Doughnut does not taste an actual raspberry.

Tiny Rebel have managed to accurately recreate all the associated flavours (Jam, Icing Sugar, Dough) in this beer, WITHOUT it being sickly-sweet, while still maintaining the 'beer-y' qualities in a malty/doughy/bread-y back end.

I was very skeptical going into this, as someone who primarily drinks dark beer and found TR's Marshmallow beers a bit sweet, but absolutely loved this beer.
