Brewery Info

Since 1873, the Friart family has brewed beers in Le Roeulx, Belgium under the Brasserie St Feuillien name. The brewery is named after a 7th century Irish monk who was beheaded and martyred in a nearby charcoal forest. A chapel was built on the site, followed by an abbey in which the monks brewed beer until the French Revolution.

The Friart family resurrected the brewing tradition along with the St. Feuillien name, brewing award-winning abbey-style beers including what is considered one of the best Tripels in the world.

Very grand

Hardly needs words to describe a top Grand Cru. Just about perfect...
Another cracker!

Yet another great beer from St Feuillien .... they are becoming one of my favourite Belgian brewers. This is complex, with grassy tones, a hint of orange, and i think a touch of caramel. Despite being a stonking 9.5% the alcohol is well hidden. A very very good beer. Recommended.
