FAQs

• When will I hear about machines being available?
  We’re working through the notification list on a first come-first served basis whenever we get stock of machines in - so the sooner you sign up, the sooner you’ll get an email! Please note: machine stock is currently very limited, so it may take a few months to hear about stock availability.
• Am I guaranteed a machine by signing up?
  By signing up, you’ll be joining the queue to be notified when machines become available to buy. Signing up doesn’t guarantee a machine, but it’s the most reliable way to get one!
• Is there any way to reserve a machine?
  Since machine supply is difficult to predict, we’re currently not taking paid reservations or pre-orders. The best way to get your machine is to join the notification list.
• When will machines be on general sale?
  Currently we’re not expecting machines to go on general sale in 2021. Obviously we hope that changes, but for the foreseeable future the notification list will be the only way to hear about machine stock.
• How many machines go on sale at a time?
  This depends on the number we receive. We notify a set amount of people who have signed up depending on how many machines are available, so for the big machine drops we’ll notify more people than the smaller ones.
• Can I buy one for a friend?
  Certainly! Although please note that it’s strictly one machine per order, so if you’re trying to buy for both yourself and a friend you’ll need to think carefully about just how much you like them.
• How fast do machines sell out?
  Very. We try to limit the number of notifications we send each time stock arrives so that stock is available for as long as possible, however we’ve known machines to sell out incredibly quickly after going on sale.
• What time do machines go on sale?
  There’s no set time that machines go on sale, however product drops tend to be during work hours to allow our amazing team to process the stock and put it live on the website.
• I received an email but machines had sold out by the time I saw it - will I be contacted again?
  Yes! Even if you missed your first chance to buy, if you’ve clicked on a notification email we’ll continue to contact you when stock becomes available.
• Can I unsubscribe from the notification list?
  Yes! You can unsubscribe specifically from the waiting list at any point by clicking the link in the notification email. This will not unsubscribe you from the general Beer Hawk address book (you can do that by clicking the ‘Unsubscribe from this list’ text at the bottom of any email.
• I’ve signed up for the notification alerts but not heard anything, should I sign up again?
  Don’t worry, if you’ve signed up to the notification list then we’ll contact you when it’s your turn. If you sign up again after already being on the list, you risk losing your spot and going to the back of the queue!
