Started by two friends with some serious brewing experience, Headlands Brewing Co aims to take the pretension out of craft beer, creating the kind of brew you can sit down and have a chat over. Patrick Horn is one of the co-founders of Pacific Brewing Laboratory and Phil Cutti has been head brewer at Southpaw BBQ in San Francisco. They got together over a love of beer and outdoor sports and the rest, as they say, is history.
Originally a gypsy brewery, Headland’s first 3 beers - Pt. Bonita Rustic Lager, Groupe G Belgian RyePA, and Hill 88 West Coast IPA - did amazingly well at beer festivals and the duo continue to brew these and other creations with a little help from their SF friends.
