United by a love of Basque Country in northern Spain and a love of making incredible beer, stateside beer maestros Kevin Patricio, Benjamin Rozzi and Benjamin Matz decided it was time to follow their dreams. In an incredibly ambitious move they moved everything they owned to San Sebastian and started Basqueland Brewing Project. This could be seen as a huge risk to take but, with Benjamin Matz’s 16 years’ experience in brewing to temper the risk, they set out on their grand Basque adventure.
Marrying the unique Basque food culture with beer has been a masterstroke and their beers have been well received both in Pais Vasco and abroad.
