Thornbridge describe themselves as a "collaboration of innovation, passion and knowledge" and they are spot on. Their beers are not pasteurised or filtered and are the epitomy of raw craft beer at its finest. Jaipur is their most well known but the rest of the range really stands up to the test too. Beer Hawk loves their beer!

There's now no need to venture through the cold and gloom for a pint at the local boozer; this winter take home almost nine pints of fresh, perfectly cask-conditioned Jaipur, the multi-award winning jewel in Thornbridge's crown.

At Beer Hawk we love Jaipur, and no doubt this snazzy 5L mini keg will be decorating many a kitchen and pantry over the darker months.

Please note that this is live, cask-conditioned ale and as such best-before dates may be shorter than on bottled and canned beer.

Instructions for use:
Place Mini cask upright somewhere cool (8-12 degrees Celsius) for at least 24 hours without moving before opening. Cask will last about 3 days once opened.
Instructions are also provided on the side of the keg!

Brewery Info

A forerunner of the British craft beer movement, Thornbridge Brewery was started in the grounds of the eponymous Thornbridge Hall in the heart of the Peak District. Aiming to make a range of cask beers with a modern twist, they’ve won over 350 national and international awards - pretty good going for what started out as a tiny 10-barrell brewery.

A couple of interesting facts for you - the co-founder of Brewdog actually started out at Thornbridge back in the day, helping to create Thornbridge’s flagship IPA Jaipur, and in 2014 Thornbridge won “Best Drinks Producer” in the BBC Good Food Awards….beating Brewdog to the top spot. Although they’re seen as a more traditional brewer, Thornbridge also has a good mix of ‘new’ creations making them a firm favourite with us.

Hit the mark.....
Arguably the finest ale in the Helter Skelter

Spoilt as sampled this on PD at PD Con 18 and this was arguably finer than the celebrated Jaipur fraught real ale.
Would prefer the pd version if it ever materialised!!

One of my favourite IPAs, prefer keg to cask.
