Brewery Info

Since 1873, the Friart family has brewed beers in Le Roeulx, Belgium under the Brasserie St Feuillien name. The brewery is named after a 7th century Irish monk who was beheaded and martyred in a nearby charcoal forest. A chapel was built on the site, followed by an abbey in which the monks brewed beer until the French Revolution.

The Friart family resurrected the brewing tradition along with the St. Feuillien name, brewing award-winning abbey-style beers including what is considered one of the best Tripels in the world.

I love Belgium beers
Review by
I highly rate Belgium beers and this brune does not fail to deliver a great tasting beer although it's not my favourite brune I would still recommend trying it.
Ooooh yes! Proper beer.

I absolutely love Belgian beer and this is a fantastic one.

This is a brune reserve abbey beer. It’s got a rich deep taste to it. Slight sweetness.

More notes needed. Need to buy again!!

Just like their blonde (which I just finished), this is a typical example of the style. A good solid brune, with caramel, dark fruit and a smooth sweet finish.
