Sori Brewing are known more for their Imperial Stouts than anything else, but they show here that they can still deliver a masterclass in other styles. An IPA of the (now) more classical American model; malty, bitter and hoppy. Once on the cutting edge and part of the race for more bitterness, breweries are tending to move away from these styles and into Brut and Lactose IPA territory. That’s no reason to neglect classic IPAs though! And this is an exemplar of the style, pine and resin backed up by malty sweetness on the nose and sweetness borne out to taste, with huge pine and resin licks tempered by light grapefruit in the background and a stonking bitter finish. Bitter-chasing hop fiends, this is a beer you’ll not regret investing in come the bull run!
"Sori Brewing is located in the capital of Estonia, Tallinn. Backed by crowdfunding investors, Sori Brewing is on a mission to make the world more fun with better craft beer. Started by two Finns who moved away from their home country to brew without compromises. Not far, but far enough to make it count. Together with an amazing team, these guys are dedicated to bring you joy in a form of craft beer."
