Siren are a relatively new brewery that has enjoyed a rocket-like launch and really established themselves as a corner of Britain's craft beer scene in a short space of time.  Established in 2010, they've won awards as England's Best New Brewery and were runners up for the World's Best New Brewery title in 2014.  Bold and compelling with a quirkiness that runs through every element of their creation.  The bottles look great and the beers tastes sublime.  Simply craft beer without the ego at it's best

Brewery Info

Siren Craft Brew don’t do boring. Even among the core range, usually reserved for the more ‘commercial’ beers, includes a 6% breakfast stout, a red IPA and Calypso, a Berliner-style sour beer. (What a wonderful beery world we live in). But this is a brewery that doesn’t know how to stop – there’s a huge range of seasonal, experimental and collaborative beers, the best of which we’re lucky enough to stock.

Yet, underpinning the whole operation is the ethos that beer should be exciting and enjoyed in the same way as fine wines, yet balanced and drinkable. It has been a remarkable journey since founder Darron Anley started the brewery in 2012, and we can’t wait to see where it will go next.

pours dark but held up to the light shows the redness. aroma is slightly fruity with burnt hops. tastes bitter but surprisingly balanced. a nice beer to drink and would have again

This one is full on with malts, taste is very rich almost like malt loaf or fruitcake but with a good kick of hops in there its very dark and maybe a Red IPA isn't the best description for such a malt forward beer even though it definitely has an IPA level of hopping either way its very tasty and another good effort from Siren
Favourite of theirs

Have tried a few of Siren Craft Brew's beers, and liked all of them. However, this is the best of the lot, a lovely well-balanced deep Red IPA, and is already one of my favourite red ales.
