delicious beverage this one, as per usual from the boys at SN (Posted on 26/02/2018)

  • Complex and delicious

    Review by Brook Lynn

One of Sierra Nevada's more interesting beers. Tangy fruity undertones behind the hoppiness give a complex but still refreshing drink. (Posted on 26/02/2018)

  • Piney

    Review by Andrew

Loads of pine in this but nice otherwise (Posted on 19/02/2018)

A sharp tasting light coloured beer with plenty of flavour derived from the blend of hops. (Posted on 19/02/2018)

  • Pale and tangy

    Review by Tring

As the name suggests there is plenty of hoppiness in the taste of this beer. The flavour also gives way to a fruity tang. (Posted on 26/01/2018)

  • Fresh and light

    Review by Martin

Pale, lager gold. Slightly cloudy with very thin head. Fresh, light aroma and mild carbonation. Taste is sweet, tangy grapefruit and pine with a hint of wildflowers. (Posted on 01/01/2018)

  • Another good brew from Sierra Nevada

    Review by Reedy

Sierra Nevada is one of the best breweries in the world producing many exceptional beers and Hop Hunter is definitely one of them. A sharp hoppiness defines this IPA which is a, more than acceptable alternative to Torpedo. (Posted on 14/12/2017)

  • Hoppy

    Review by Nicky

Lovely dry and bitter ipa , hopped out to the extreme and very tasty (Posted on 10/12/2017)

  • a Hop-grade from SN IPA

    Review by Lee

I'm a massive of Sierra Nevada and their iconic IPA is one of my favorites. It's no surprise that I loved this then. Not much different from the standard just a bit of a hop-grade. I think the Torpedo is my pick of the bunch though. (Posted on 05/12/2017)

  • gorgeous

    Review by Christopher

Gorgeous beer, very hoppy (Posted on 01/12/2017)

  • Good citrusy hit and bitterness

    Review by BillyB

Not as fresh tasting as the last bottle I had. Good citrusy hit and bitterness, but I'm afraid some of the hop aromas have gone. (Posted on 29/11/2017)

  • SF not sicience fiction

    Review by rik

an other fantastic brew ffrom the golden gate (Posted on 24/11/2017)

  • America letting the IPA world down again

    Review by Bacchanalian

Yet another tedious american ipa. Bit zesty, bit hoppy, but mostly bland. Look for a New Zealand isa if you wanna try something new and interesting instead. (Posted on 23/11/2017)

  • Worth a try.

    Review by Matthew

A pretty good IPA from SN. I prefer Torpedo though. (Posted on 20/11/2017)

  • not bad

    Review by Andy

Not a bad beer just not as good as I expected. Hippy yes but not as hippy as others and would have to say torpedo is much better (Posted on 03/08/2017)

  • Doesn't do what it says on the tin (well, bottle...)

    Review by Rich

Hop Hunter promises so much - but it is very underwhelming.

Go for Torpedo instead - far greater hop hit than this poor effort. (Posted on 28/07/2017)

  • Nothing Spectacular

    Review by Danielh87

Slightly disappointed with this one,not one of their best efforts (Posted on 27/07/2017)

  • Good stuff

    Review by Philip

Good, well rounded beer. Pretty strong though (Posted on 20/07/2017)

  • Not bad

    Review by Vic

A bit average really, not that good compared to other crafty IPAs, not as hoppy as expected (Posted on 11/07/2017)

  • Hoppy!

    Review by Betz

Different, but not as good as Sierra Nevada pale Ale.
A good alternative but the standard Pale Ale remains my Favorite. (Posted on 05/07/2017)

  • Fine, but name made me expect more

    Review by James

Expected more from a beer with this name, but still perfectly nice. (Posted on 27/06/2017)

  • Good stuff

    Review by Hannibal

Not as good as the torpedo, but a hoppy IPA to be sure, and nothing to be disappointed with (Posted on 19/06/2017)

    Sierra Nevada hop hunter
I love an American IPA,  this one is Tropical, juicy, hoppy, with a  nice bitterness at the end. (Posted on 14/05/2017)

  • Wow! Love it

  • Hops hunted and found

    Review by Foxy

A very hoppy IPA great flavour and what a smell, really packs a punch, loads of resin in the bottom , just fabulous all round (Posted on 27/04/2017)

  • good stuff

    Review by richard

love sierra Nevada pale ale and the torpedo but this is better in my opinion, they have out done them selves, lovely hoppy aroma and a punch of flavour with a slight bitter after taste (Posted on 21/04/2017)

  • Tasty

    Review by Beebo

Pours slightly hazy golden with foamy white head. Aroma: citrusy, piny, fruity hop profile. Flavour follows aroma with intensity, supported with crisp, toasted malt notes. Hop bitterness is medium, finish slightly dry, bitter. Body is medium, texture soft, carbonation is medium. (Posted on 17/04/2017)

  • Decent

    Review by Micky

Decent. Plenty of resin and pine and sharp hoppy bitterness. (Posted on 03/04/2017)

  • Hoppy hoppy hop hopness

    Review by Dead Derek

Crazy beer. Admit I'm only a beginner into the world of craft beers, but this was certainly among the most memorable I've drunk so far. The hop aroma and flavours were BIG. (Posted on 14/03/2017)

  • Worth a tickle

    Review by Snozz

Pale golden colour with a white head. Pine fruity and orange blossom aroma and taste. Nice. (Posted on 09/03/2017)

  • Too Tart For Me

    Review by little gin

Firstly the beer was too cloudy for me. It was also quite tart. The aroma was very floral. Best bit was it was quite strong, one to forget! (Posted on 01/03/2017)

  • Great IPA

    Review by Chris is Hollywood

Extremely smooth drinking IPA. Not sure what hop oils are compared to regular hops but they work! (Posted on 28/02/2017)

  • My favourite IPA

    Review by Beardman36

For me this is the perfect American west coast IPA. Lots of grapefruit, citrus and tropical flavours. Lots of bitterness but a smooth mouthfeel. (Posted on 24/02/2017)

  • Citrus punch

    Review by Billy696

A tasty citrus and resin flavour IPA. Was expecting more of a punch though but still very good. (Posted on 04/02/2017)

  • Sierra Nevada Do It Again

    Review by dawslevel7

I've always loved the SNPA and was keen to try this when I saw it. I wasn't disappointed. As you can imagine it's bursting with hops, more so than the SNPA. I actually prefer this to the Torpedo. It's 6.2% so you can't have too many! (Posted on 25/01/2017)

  • An enjoyable drink.

    Review by Alex Weiss

A good hoppy blend from one of the USA's top brewers. If you are a fan of American IPAs you can't fail to appreciate this sharp tasting blend. (Posted on 13/01/2017)

  • Good old Sierra Nevada

    Review by Blaineyboy

Excellent IPA from an excellent brewery (Posted on 11/01/2017)

  • A good hoppy blend

    Review by Ale x

The excessive use of hops is instantly noticeable with the sharp bitter overtone, but the blend has created another good IPA to rival the Torpedo. (Posted on 27/12/2016)

  • Another good offering from Sierra Nevada

    Review by Ryans

As the name implies, this is a very hoppy brew. Closer to the Torpedo than the Pale Ale, the hops give it a bitter taste. I prefer the Pale or the Tor p Edo but this is still a passable drink. (Posted on 27/12/2016)

  • Smooth

    Review by alanbullafc

I thought this offering from Sierra was quite smooth, but nice. Good ABV. (Posted on 20/12/2016)

  • Cracking. 4.5*

    Review by Llamaman

Delicious IPA with a good balance of juiciness and hoppyness.
Less aggressive and astringent than their Torpedo, but more interesting than their standard pale ale. Well worth a try.
    (Posted on 15/12/2016)

  • Amazing yet again

    Review by Sambo

Sierra Nevada pale ale was my gateway beer into hoppy IPA's many years ago. This one is just as brilliant if not better than the flagship pale ale. Brewed using hops extract they've perfected the balance between fruity flavours and bitterness. I ordered 3, wish I'd got more (Posted on 15/12/2016)

  • Great buy

    Review by Birky

I think this is the best in the Sierra Nevada range - better than their normal pale ale and smoother than Torpedo (Posted on 15/12/2016)

  • My favourite

    Review by Chopper

1st class modern style IPA - I can't remember having tried a better one. (Posted on 13/12/2016)

  • Following The Tradition

    Review by Ninja Terrier

I have had a few of the Sierra Nevada offerings and can truly say that this one lives up to the high standard I have come to expect. A decent brew with lots of flavour. (Posted on 09/12/2016)

This is another winner from the SN stable. Juicy and tart, it really wakes up the taste buds. Top job. (Posted on 06/12/2016)
