Brewed for over 140 years using the same key four ingredients, Beck's is THE classic German lager. Featuring hops from the famed Hallertau region of Germany, this clean and refreshing lager has been brewed in accordance with the German Reinheitsgebot. I like the usual bottles but on draft, this comes into it's own. Not as lively as I was expecting but doesn't cause any bloating which means it works very well as a session.

I love bottled Becks and used to drink nothing but Becks.
So imagine my disappointment when I tried it on my Perfect draught!
I don't know why but it just seems to be a little tasteless and kind of flat!
Thought it may be a one off but tried a second keg and it was the same.
Very strange and disappointing for a Becks lover!

Oh this beer is lovely in the perfect draft machine. Very refreshing with a lovely taste. This is a drink that goes down easily and will be fabulous in summer when out in the garden - although, I'm enjoying it now!

I've worked all over the country for the last 25 years and drank in many bars. Only once have I come across my favourite beer, Becks, on draft...now I have a great pint of this fine Lager whenever I want... well done all at beer hawk!!!!

This beer is the reason I bought the PD, always drank this on draft in Germany and bottles and cans simply cannot compare. Wondered if the Perfect Draft kegs would compare to the pints in the fatherland, needless to say I did not need to worry, crisp and refreshing as expected!

It's safe to say pretty much any cold serve beer is better when it's 3• degrees rather than the 6-7• you get at the local pub. Becks has a year, golden look, with a good white head, clean initial taste bit a weird after taste that's not to my liking. Overall if you like Becks this is brilliant, but for me it's a non-reorder.

Tried it in the Becks glasses I received with the Perfectdraft machine, but there are no bubbles. So I used one of my glasses what has a widget in the bottom, but still no joy. Can anyone give me any tips, so the lager isn’t flat???

Maybe my memory is a little hazey but I remember Becks being alot better but not my cup of tea now really disliked the taste and didn't finish the keg suppose it depends on your own taste buds

Came in the becks bundle offer and it certainly impressed me. Taste far smoother than out of a bottle. Look forward to sampling other beers and if they are half as good as the Becks it will be money well spent.

This Keg emptied rather quickly. Becks is a great lager, Much better in Keg format compared to bottles. Does it knock Stella/Jupiler off the podium? Not quite in my opinion but its very close. Well worth a try!

Maybe I was expecting something different or some of the other perfect draft beers are better. If you like Becks then go for it.

To be honest, I bought Becks when I was throwing a do (wedding) and wanted something the masses would feel comfortable with. (Another PD machine had more interesting options.) And yet, that's not to say that it's not a nice drink still. It's just a bit safe. Not a great deal of flavour, but the people will enjoy putting it away.

Tasty German beer but, in my opinion, it is not the best perfect draft have to offer (on the pilsner front). It is better than the bottled stuff and if you are a Becks drinker than you can’t go wrong. I, however, prefer 2 of the other pilsners (purely a personal preference).
