A controlled and consistent fermentation temperature is a sure-fire way to increase the quality of your brewing, and this digital temperature controller from Mangrove Jack's allows you to do just that. No additional wiring or expertise needed: just plug in and go.
This temperature control unit works by plugging into your standard wall socket, and has two plug sockets on its rear side: one for cooling, and one for heating. Into the cooling socket you can plug a fridge or freezer, and into the heating socket you can attach a Mangrove Jack's Heat Pad, a heat belt, or a heat lamp. The temperature controller then turns on either the 'heat' or 'cool' power socket depending on what its sensor probe is reading, in order to balance the temperature at your specified level. Its sensor probe can be placed inside a fridge or freezer, fastened to the side of a fermenter with Blu-Tac, or even sanitised and lowered into the beer itself.
