Magic Rock Rapture

Magic Rock Rapture

£2.39
Style Brown and Amber Ale
Country British Beers
ABV 4.6%
Serving Temp 7 to 10°C
Bottle Size 330ml
A hazy amber pour with an off white head and aromas of malt loaf and resin. An oily mouthfeel carries pithy notes and a solid malty flavour that lasts and lasts. And don’t forget to check out the can art by the very talented Richard Norgate, who creates an endless range of wacky circus characters for the brewery… (it helps that brewer Stu occasionally cracks his leotard out for inspiration!)

Product Reviews

  • One of my favourites red ales

    Review by Tom

From one of my favourite breweries. Magic rock always on point with thier selection. (Posted on 10/01/2018)

  • Quality Amber Ale

    Review by Dudes Brews

Lovely rich malt and full body for a relatively low ABV lots of toffee and caramel notes, big hoppy aroma and a piney citrus base from 4 different hops of which the simcoe and columbus are most obvious to me. Its a lovely beer with a great blend between the malt sweetness and hoppy bite (Posted on 29/11/2017)

  • A decent red ale

    Review by Daniel

Malty, caramel, citrus and hoppy. It's as good as 5am Saint by Brewdog. In all honesty I really like all the art work on Magic Rock's cans, but the Inhaler and Grapefruit High Wire have to be the best of their brews. (Posted on 04/06/2017)

  • Fantastic red ale

    Review by Julie

One of the best red ales I've had (Posted on 25/05/2017)

  • Reddish Haze

    Review by MeanGreen83

Reddish amber and cloudy. A heavy mouthfeel despite it's 4.6%. Hoppy and bitter. I dig. (Posted on 27/03/2017)

  • Meet me in the clouds

    Review by Llamaman

Fruitier than many red ales and no worse for it. The caramel and slight spicy notes are still there, but a citrusy note gives this the edge on its rivals.
I'm not usually a big fan or red ales, but this is the kind of brew that can change your mind. (Posted on 22/03/2017)
