Dark as night and roasty as hell with subtle accompanying sweetness, this stout is a tour de force. It’s silky smooth and flavourful. The nose is all roasted malts tinged with a light sweetness. To taste, it doesn’t skimp on the roastiness either, the sweetness comes out brown sugar, chocolate and cocoa. It’s all tied up with a lovely smooth bitterness and it’s everything you’d expect from Left Hand Brewing, long time maestros of the US craft scene. Drink with your left hand, right hand or no hands at all, it'll go down well regardless. For the smoothest results, turn the can upside down a few times, put the glass over the can and then flip the glass and can together so that the beer pours into the glass, while slowly removing the can from the glass.
