There’s a deep connection between the Irish and the Americans. So many of them set sail from the Emerald isle to find a new life in the new world. It was a long time before any of them came back to see if the old sod was just the same. When they did they brought new ideas back with them, different ways of doing things and a promise of better things to come. Kinnegar Crossroads seeks to embody this sentiment and boldly speaks of its pride in the Irishmen and women who have made their mark from the new world or the old. It pours darker than you’d expect an IPA to pour, deep amber-brown, perhaps drawing from the Irish’s love of red beer. It has a tropical fruit dominated aroma alongside the pine and resin you’d expect from the American hops, there’s also a little bit of bitter orange tucked away in there as well. It’s silky smooth to drink and there’s tropical fruits, grapefruit, pine and resin to taste. One to pour when you want to sit, relax and wile away the hours reminiscing about the good old days.
