Fourpure were inspired by the wild mountains of the West Coast of the US when brewing up this feisty number. This pours hazy and golden, with incredible aromas of grapefruit and pineapple. Some aggressive hopping has gone on here, plenty of pithy grapefruit flavours and a moderate bitterness, this is one to keep you on your toes. Fourpure say this is perfect for adventuring, fill a backpack and head to the forests, or just watch some Ray Mears if you fancy putting your feet up!

Golden amber colour, clear, little carbonation
    Thin white head, disappears quickly
Mango, grapefruit, pineapple and hoppy aroma
Medium crisp, slick mouthfeel with some carbonation
Bitter grapefruit, pine, mango, lemon, dragonfruit and hoppy flavour
Bitter, dry, resin and dragonfruit aftertaste, lingering, no carbonation
Uses Citra hops? (Posted on 21/02/2018)

  • Pretty good ipa

    Review by sophie

A pretty good west coast ipa (Posted on 19/02/2018)

  • Alright

    Review by Andrew

Another only slightly higher than average beer from these (Posted on 19/02/2018)

  • Great stuff

    Review by Brian

One of the better pale ale styles and done excellently by an excellent brewery, not much better (Posted on 27/01/2018)

  • It’s ok

    Review by Dudes Brews

Hops on the can promise a lot but it doesn’t quite deliver (Posted on 20/01/2018)

  • WOW

    Review by Danton

Wow what a beer, hopped up to the max and with citrusy notes coming through an absolute belter (Posted on 14/01/2018)

  • Nice IPA

    Review by Mo

Great hoppy tropical flavours, true to the style. (Posted on 07/01/2018)

  • Good shot...

    Review by Ady

Moor have taken a shot at a West Coast pale and come up trumps. Lots of tropical fruit flavours combine with high hops to leave the tastebuds wanting more (Posted on 03/01/2018)

  • Bursting with hops

    Review by Marit

Hopped up to the max with citra, colombus, mosiac and centennial hops. The canned version, at 6.4%, is much improved on the lighter 5.9% draft offering. It's not the Bermondsey boys best IPA, but it's bursting with hops and is a great thirst quencher. (Posted on 19/12/2017)

  • Fresh

    Review by Neil

A really crisp and fresh IPA. Not too resinous, very refreshing, like a waterfall or stormy seas on the coast (Posted on 18/12/2017)

  • Good

    Review by Nicky

Nice ipa in the american style, hopped but not too much, lovely aroma and a very more-ish after taste (Posted on 10/12/2017)

  • not bad??

    Review by jonny

not bad, although the can was slightly punctured so I poured it very quickly, still fizzy and still tastey but could it have been better?? (Posted on 24/11/2017)

  • Citra

    Review by Philip

Big fan of Citra hops and this packs them in (Posted on 20/07/2017)

  • Great

    Review by Bill

Great IPA really deep and strong in taste, no subtle undertones here, just a damn fine IPA (Posted on 16/07/2017)

  • Bitter and Strong IPA

    Review by JohnH

Not the best beer from fourpure but decent enough to be worth trying. This is a really bitter, hop heavy beer with little in the way of malty sweetness to balance things out. You can also really taste the 6.4%, its not a subtle beer (Posted on 10/07/2017)

  • Nice.....

    Review by Shapeshifter

Decent beer. Has the juice box by these guys the night before and think i was spoiled with that as it was amazing.
This was hoppy woth a hint of citris ok bit wouldnt go overboard (Posted on 28/06/2017)

  • Very good

    Review by Pippa

Excellent beer with a hint of citrus at the back but not over the top like some, nothing here to not like really (Posted on 12/06/2017)

  • Yum

    Review by Llamaman

A whiff of tangerine, a malty backbone and a deep but not overblown bitterness.
When IPAs are done well, they slip down regardless of ABV.
Fourpure's best beer that I've tried, and at an excellent price. (Posted on 31/05/2017)

  • Good Beer

    Review by Chapman

Nicely hoppy beer, served chilled is lovely, worth buying again (Posted on 31/05/2017)

  • Excellent

    Review by dara

Excellent beer, hoppy and tasty, bit stong for a session but a nice beer (Posted on 27/05/2017)

  • Another Winner

    Review by Ninja Terrier

Another quality product from a emerging brewery. This is a very nice IPA that benefits from being served very cool. Nicely hooped just the way I like beer to be. (Posted on 07/05/2017)

  • as it should be

    Review by Mother

Very good IPA, as it should be, a bit stronger than some beers but this benefits from it with a hoppy taste and full aroma but don't like it too much (Posted on 03/05/2017)
