Good tasty ale, malty, hoppy and herb tones to it, really good (Posted on 08/01/2018)

    Review by Red

Nice beer, lovely beer to have with meat dishes if your interested in pairings my recommendation would be roast beef or a hearty stew, some in the gravy some in the glass (Posted on 11/12/2017)

  • Gastro Mild

    Review by Philip

Originally brewed for a Gastro pub ran by Heston Blumenthal. Glad they decided to bottle it too. A very nice flavoursome mild. With a herb/floral aroma and flavour. (Posted on 24/11/2017)

  • Not bad

    Review by Gregg

Not a bad ale, better that the welsh pride from the same brewery, it has more depth of flavour and is generally a satisfying beer (Posted on 21/11/2017)

  • Plain

    Review by Pippa

Plain and not very interesting, a little wishy washy and nothing special but drinkable (Posted on 14/06/2017)

  • Strong bitter

    Review by Good Head

Golden in colour and clear with a fast diminishing head. Has a strong bitterness and malty flavours with a full body feel. (Posted on 13/06/2017)

  • Meh

    Review by Foxy

Not a fantastically tasty beer, a little bit plain and boring (Posted on 06/06/2017)

  • Steady session beer

    Review by Uncruliar

I found this pleasant enough but unremarkable. Light floral notes, easy drinking but nothing to get excited about. (Posted on 20/01/2017)

  • Nice enough

    Review by Chris

There's nothing wrong with this, but also not really anything that makes it stand out. Worth a try, but I prefer bigger flavours. (Posted on 09/12/2016)

    Review by Beer Baron

A nice, bottled ale but not special. Summery, hoppy flavours lighten it up and not too fizzy. (Posted on 22/10/2016)

  • Classic

    Review by Geofff

Classic refreshing ale, light floral flavours for summer - recommended (Posted on 12/04/2016)

  • Very pleasant

    Review by Andrew

Nice real ale. unusual and interesting flavour. Nice and subtle (Posted on 11/08/2015)

  • A bit... unremarkable.

    Review by Kiwi Duncan

Maybe I've been drinking too many big ales lately, but this just didn't grab me. The nose has hints of floral hops, but the taste just doesn't back it up. Almost no head, and the mouthfeel can best be described as 'light'. If you're a fan of traditional 'shilling' ales this might appeal, but not if you like bold flavours. (Posted on 30/04/2015)

  • Sweet little number...

    Review by AdyG

I like this. I like it a lot. I also like Conwy brews and this is another superb one from the Welsh Wizards. Light, floral flavours leave a refreshing aftertaste but it still retains a malty kick... (Posted on 12/01/2015)
