Bohemian Pilsner

This golden lager with a clean bitter finish originates from the town of Pilsen (or Plzen) in the Czech Republic and was invented in 1842 as sort of a lager-y answer to the popular pale ale. The Czech Pilsner has a complex caramel malt profile that is the perfect pedestal for the spicy Czech Saaz hop. In essence, when you find a great Bohemian Pilsner you've found the Godfather of all lagers. Just don't tell the Germans.
