Founded in 1833 when the Belgian state was just 3 years old, De Koninck brewery started life in ‘De Plaisante Hof’ inn, situated on the Antwerp/Bercham border. Near the inn was a border stone with the image of a raised hand - the sign for merchants to pay the toll, and now part of the brewery logo.
De Koninck brews a range of Belgian blonde, amber, red and seasonal beers, including their flagship beer which is traditionally served in a special ‘bolleke’ glass!
