Details

Cold-conditioned for five weeks, Kingpin is crisp and clean with a robust malty backbone and notes of freshly baked bread. Spicy hops, a hint of grassiness and some zesty citrus give this 4.7% ABV lager a hoppy, bitter edge before finishing light and refreshing.

Brewery Info

With a no-holds-barred approach to business and beer, BrewDog brews with no constraints and are constantly innovating to release amazing beer to the UK—and the world—from their brewery in Scotland. Despite their punk-like anti-establishment image, BrewDog is famed for supporting the craft beer industry by investing in great small breweries, featuring fine beers in their bars and providing training for every single one of their employees to a high-standard of beery knowledge.
It’s not all philanthropy though (although there’s a good bit of that) it’s the best way they know how to take down “the man” of mass-produced beer, one bold move at a time.

Brewdog brew some great beer - this isn't one of them. Average pils lacking true bitterness.
Good tasty lager

This is an enjoyable lager, especially really cold. For the price I would say there are better ones out there though.
Not too strong for Brewdog

Usually renowned for their stronger beers this one is only 4.7%.

Perfectly adequate - but I do think there are better lagers out there.
