We wanted to show you how we work out the price of a pint. There are a couple of things to take into account:

• We give you £5 in Beer Tokens (see below) for each keg you return.
• We give you 5% in Beer Tokens when you buy a keg.
• There are 10.56 pints (6 litres) in each keg.

We take Corona Cero, our cheapest keg (Oct 2023) at £27.90. If we take off £5 for keg returns and 5% in Beer Tokens, the price is £21.51. Divide that by 10.56 pints, and we have £2.04 per pint.

Here's a few examples of the price of a pint (and remember, always show your working!)

Stella Artois

Stella Artois keg cost = £35.90 - £1.80 back in Beer Tokens - £5 back in Beer Tokens for return = £29.11 / 10.56 = £2.77 per pint

Camden Hells

Camden Hells keg cost = £37.90 - £1.90 back in Beer Tokens - £5 back in Beer Tokens for return = £31.01 / 10.56 = £2.95 per pint

Goose Island IPA

Goose Island IPA keg cost = £39.90 - £2.00 back in Beer Tokens - £5 back in Beer Tokens for return = £32.91 / 10.56 = £3.04 per pint
