This is an IPA like no other. White Hag have produced a beer that seems rooted in the Irish wilderness – is that a peatiness we sense? The bitterness is balanced brilliantly from the piny and citrusy US hops. Would take a really spicy curry. Wow.

Brehon Brewhouse is based in Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan, Ireland, and they are making some amazing beers right now. This Porter is Brehon’s take on the Irish stout with subtle dark chocolate and coffee undertones and a smooth but satisfying finish.
