Bellfield’s maiden beer, a union of science and art, brought to you from Lawless Village. Don’t worry! It’s not going to jump out the box sporting a moustache and a sombrero, two pistols drawn, screaming bloody murder. It’s rather more sophisticated. It has been brewed with the gluten-intolerant in mind but it shouldn’t be only the preserve of the gluten-intolerant, it’s a fantastic beer in its own right. It pours a clear dark gold and it gives off pine needles, herbs, malt and a light fruitness to smell. The taste is grass, toffee and a little bit of citrus on the finish. It’s a gluten-free IPA but you certainly wouldn’t know it if you were doing a blind taste test. A triumph from the folks at Bellfield!

Brewery Info

Hailing from the mighty seven hills of Edinburgh and located a stone's throw from Arthur's Seat, Bellfield Brewery live and breath the sense of craftsmanship, artistry and ingenuity which seeps from every pore of the city. Much like the city, they are taking a distinctly modern and egalitarian approach to governance over their realm, Bellfield's being beer and not just any old beer, gluten-free beer! Their mission is to make beer available to all, even those traditionally unable to sample the such heavenly delights.
