Brewers & Union work with both German and Belgian brewers to develop a fantastically rich range of artisan beer. All are unfiltered so have a lovely full texture and flavour. While angered by the monotonous flavours so widely available in lager, they have a wonderfully realistic philosophy "We don't believe we can single-handedly change the world of beer, but with a little raw passion, blind optimism and reckless resolve, we can perhaps make a difference."

All of And Union's beer is brewed in partnership with small, well-established Bavarian breweries. Pouring deep copper, Friday is their take on an American-style IPA. Sweet mandarin, cooked peaches and brown sugar aromas bring to mind homemade peach crumble, with resinous pine flavours layered over a muted caramel backbone. Robust and nicely balanced, with a medium body and lingering, dusty finish.

Brewery Info

Formerly known as Brewers & Union, And Union work hand-in-hand with brewmasters in Germany and Belgium to develop the finest, most authentic lagers and ales. Rebelling against the big breweries’ lack of passion, And Union challenged themselves to find some of Europe’s oldest family-run breweries in search of the best artisanal brews.

The oldest brewery they work with is almost 500 years old, and the youngest is a venerable 90. Obsessed with flavour, aroma and balance, And Union beers are traditionally brewed in small batches with the process taking up to 16 weeks. You can’t rush craftsmanship, and if you’re looking for beer with history you’ve come to the right place.

Awesome beer for a Friday
Not bad, but not my favorite

Nice IPA. Very rich and malty, with strong yeasty presence, almost marmite-like. I prefer must IPAs fresher, more resiny/fruity.

A fantastic IPA with barrels of flavour, happy , bitter and an aroma to die for , they don't get much better than this
A go-to beer for me

A lovely crisp IPA with a one finger head of fine bubbles and mild carbonation and a fair haziness.
smells very nice, small oranges on the smell and other hops.
taste wise it is an IPA with a reminder of a "Ruby Beer", such as Leffe Ruby, very interesting. mild Bitterness keeps the flavours in check.
Drinkable? YES!
