And Union is a self proclaimed “post-modernist” brewery in Bavaria and they’ve had a crack at brewing the next great Alcohol Free beer (0.5%). This bottle conditioned Bavarian wheat beer smells strongly of clove and banana, so commonly found in German Wheat beers. It has a fairly full body for a low ABV beer and tastes like there could be some wheat bits floating around in it still.

Formerly known as Brewers & Union, And Union work hand-in-hand with brewmasters in Germany and Belgium to develop the finest, most authentic lagers and ales. Rebelling against the big breweries’ lack of passion, And Union challenged themselves to find some of Europe’s oldest family-run breweries in search of the best artisanal brews.
The oldest brewery they work with is almost 500 years old, and the youngest is a venerable 90. Obsessed with flavour, aroma and balance, And Union beers are traditionally brewed in small batches with the process taking up to 16 weeks. You can’t rush craftsmanship, and if you’re looking for beer with history you’ve come to the right place.
