Here comes the Chuggernaut! Ready to guzzle everything in sight and wonder where the night went! Brewed by one of our absolute favourite breweries, Amundsen in collaboration with South African brewers Devils Peak, we went into this expecting big things and, as per usual with Amundsen, they deliver emphatically! It’s pale, strawed coloured and with an ever so slight haze but don’t let that fool you! This beast is packed full of hoppy goodness! Mango, grapefruit, pine blaze a trail across your taste buds in pursuit of the climaxing bitterness which rounds this beer off beautifully! At 4.7% it has more flavour than you might expect but if it’s Amundsen, you know it’s going to be good!

Brewery Info

Started as a brewpub in Oslo by two Norwegian investors, Amundsen Brewery has undergone a period of incredible growth in the last 2 years. Trying one of their beers will make you understand why, they’re incredible! Geoffrey van Vuuren was hired very early on to run the brewpub and within a couple of years he was invited to co-own the brewery he had made so much his own. His dedication to quality has driven Amundsen to greater and greater heights. Focussing on fruity IPAs, sours and huge stouts, Amundsen are all about big and bold flavours and incredible beer! Try it, you won’t be disappointed!
