Williams Bros started off as a home brew shop in Glasgow and were ticking along quite happily until 1988 when one day a lady wandered in with a recipe. The recipe was in Gaelic for leann fraoch (heather ale) and had been handed down through the generations, but she didn't know how to brew it. The two got together and after a period of experimentation the first Williams Bros beer was born!
