Stone Levitation Ale

Roasted malts and caramel flavours provide the backbone of Stone's unsurprisingly hop-forward take on a classic American amber ale. With prominent notes of bitter grapefruit and resinous pine, Levitation is light bodied and quaffable with just a touch of sweetness.

Starting in 1996, Stone Brewery has rapidly become the most renowned brewery in the States; voted by Beer Advocate as the "All Time Top Brewery on Planet Earth". High praise indeed and happily not just hype. They brew wildly hoppy west coast beers, which are very, very good! As a result they are best drunk fresh and each bottle contains an enjoy by date for the US market. Don't confuse this with a use by date as by the time they get over here this date can be imminent, it's just a better experience if you drink them asap, which is good news as they sell like hot cakes!

Disappointing range of beers in the selection. Since this had a wide range of finalists to select from it would have been more interesting to select beers from brewers that do not have national coverage. Whilst I enjoy and support all Fullers, Hooky and Coniston beers, they're pretty much available in any supermarket. It's also disappointing that only one medal winning beer was in the case.
Made an order, paid extra to have it delivered the next day and it didn't show up. Took ages to get an actual response and still don't have the products or the refund. Very poor service
Order process went very smoothly. Placing the order was fine, and the parcel even arrived when the courier company said they would deliver it (so often these are inaccurate). Thanks
