The Mittenwalder brewery is 200 years old and is the highest brewery in Bavaria. Pure Alpine spring water is used in the traditional brewing process giving the product a unique clean and refreshing taste which complements the caramel quality of the Hallertauer hops. The beers are slow brewed using traditional methods and in strict accordance with the German Purity Law which means the only ingredients are water, hops, barley, and yeast.
